Regular Season Week 6 — Thu 9 Oct to Mon 13 Oct 2025
London delivered grit; the States delivered plot twists. UK windows friendly, tea compulsory.
London first. At Tottenham, defence was the headline: Denver racked up nine sacks and edged the Jets 13–11 in a bruiser that felt like a throwback. Bo Nix kept Denver on schedule and the pass rush did the rest; New York’s late push stalled short. Ugly? Sure. Effective? Absolutely. It was a proper road-win vibe for the Broncos and a long walk home for a winless Jets side.
Chaos stateside. The early slate stacked drama: the Colts pulled a late rally over Arizona 31–27; Justin Herbert nicked Miami with a final-minute drive 29–27 (De’Von Achane still ripped 128 rush); and Drake Maye threw three as the Patriots handled the Saints 25–19. Pittsburgh kept Cleveland to singles in a 23–9 win.
Late window pop. Carolina 30–27 Dallas — and it was revenge-movie stuff for Rico Dowdle, who piled up 239 scrimmage yards (183 rushing) against his old mates. In Jacksonville, Seattle muted the Jags 20–12 behind Jaxon Smith-Njigba’s 162 yards and a sharp Sam Darnold. The Rams stuffed a Lamar-less Ravens side 17–3, the Raiders beat Tennessee 20–10, Green Bay finished off Cincinnati 27–18, the Buccaneers out-executed San Francisco 30–19, and Kansas City flexed on Detroit 30–17.
MNF double. Atlanta ran the ball with malice and put away the Bills 24–14 (Bijan Robinson 170 rush, Drake London 10-158-1), while the Bears found another tight one, 25–24 over Washington, closing with composure and a little special-teams nerve.
UK takeaways. Neutral-site football keeps rewarding clean operations: punt direction and kick timing bank hidden yards, and discipline extends drives when the crowd’s split. Tempo and motion looked like cheat codes for quarterbacks across the slate, but Week 6 belonged to fronts — Denver’s sack party in London, Vegas mauling Tennessee, and Tampa’s four-man heat bothering the Niners’ timing.
Next up in the capital: Rams vs Jaguars — Wembley, Sun 19 Oct, 14:30 BST (9:30 a.m. ET), **exclusive on NFL Network** in the U.S.; Sky/Channel 5 in the UK.
